I have been teaching and working with PreK in Coffeen with the Hillsboro School District since 2002. PreK is a passion of mine and I truly enjoy teaching and watching these young children grow!
Students call me "Miss Sarah" since my last name is a little tricky. :)
I completed my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2000 at Greenville College (now Greenville University), and received a Master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2006.
I have a daughter in 5th grade, and my son is a sophomore in highschool. My greatest joy in life is spending time with my kids and family. I also enjoy running/walking, reading, musicals, camping, and just being outside in the fresh air. Coffee and ice cream are two of my "love languages" and I will never turn either of them down. :p
